So what can be said about today's strip. I think it sums up what happened without having to resort to anything particularly graphic. Plus, I dig the lighting bolt in the first panel (courtesy of Manga Studio. credit where it's due).

So, now that's out of the way.

I did however get roughly 10 pounds of manga (seriously... I weighed it) in the past few days. Some for my birthday, some as late xmas presents (thank you Borders gift card!). I now have the complete run of Dragon Ball and have stared in on Bakuman.

And that's all for today really. More AF on Wednesday. Hope to see y'all then!

Pity the Elf. But, also pity the manga reader that shops at Borders. The store chain just recently got cut off because they have not been paying their bills.

Oh, would appear that merely carrying the designation of 'hero' does not necessarily lend ease to acts of heroism...

Why do i have the feeling, that the Elf will return in some way? Twisted and under Merlins spell perhaps?

I wanna know who the characters in the background are, but more importantly, do I need to weight all my christmas and b-day presents too?

@DaggerBob - I wasn't aware Borders got cut off, but it just happened they had the manga I was looking for and I had a gift card. Typically I buy my manga (those few series I follow) through my local comic shop.

@Jrade - if being a hero were easy, would it really be all that heroic? Considering how well Mika fared against the Draugr, I give him props for making the attempt against Merlin.

@SwissReader - You'll have to keep reading to find out :)

@leyna - the characters in the background are implied to be the rebels, with Mika leading the charge. But more importantly, yes.. you do need to weight xmas and birthday presents. It's an unwritten rule.

"Bring in the Clones" comes to mind - if it worked once [kinda] then it can work again [kinda]

Mind you if the process is as inaccurate as it was with the last try they can not help to get either a "Legolas" or an "Alfred E. Newman". ^_~
