Obviously lying to Angry Faerie is a bad idea. Lying to her and not trying to deny it may be a worse idea. Lying to her and then having someone hit AF on the head with a shillelagh (a club or cudgel)is probably going to really tick her off.

And just what is Rok doing? Lying to her and having Mika club her isn't going to put him on AF's good side (and let's face it, even her good side isn't all that safe to be on in the first place).

And just wait til you see what happens next!

Ok, that's all I've got to say for now. Hope to hear what you all think about today's strip, including any predictions about Rok's motives and what's going to happen next.

They are mirages, conjured by Merlin.

...that would be a lot of pretext to kidnapping, though...makes about as much sense as a dramatic monologue.

Rokk is a lot of things--but he's never struck me as a doughty dwarf warrior. Mika at least TRIES to play the game. If they're leading the rebellion, well--Laurel and Hardy may have done a better job. I'm guessing this was all a plan "Hide in the forest, make occasional raids and wait and pray like hell Angry Faerie shows up again" Because she's obviously the best strategist of the three...

The bop on the head? A chance to calm her down so they can EXPLAIN

It could've been worse. He could've hired Celine Dion for her birthday party.

She wasn't that bothered about the lying, but then she realised that mean Celine Dion isn't outlawed.

She can be a Scary Faerie when her fangs are showing! :)

@Jrade - for a mirage, they pack a big whomp, don't they? Nope... they're definitely real as far as I can tell.

@burnning_devil - excellent question. The answer will be revealed. I'd say by next week you'll know more about the patch.

@WhiteOwl - I like where your head is at. You're not quite on the right path, but you're not off the map. Although thinking AF is the best strategist is a scary thought. Her idea of strategy seems to be "run up and kick 'em in the balls".

@DSW - that WOULD be worse. Or would it? heh heh heh.. wait til Wednesday.

@Jacob - well she's justified in being pissed off about that. Assuming that Rok was lying about that aspect of things.... bwah ha ha

@Steve - oh yeah, expect AF to be less than thrilled with this most recent turn of events. And things get worse for her Wednesday.

@David - hopefully she's scary a lot of the time :)

I think I am just gonna rate this a 5 and not make much of a comment about anything cause I dont understand why Rok would lie in the first place unless it was to give Mika retaliation opportunity to the kick in the balls.
bbedlam 24th Jan 2011, 3:21 PM edit delete reply
@leyna - Rok definitely has his reasons, which will become clean... soon. Not Wednesday. Wednesday will lead to some serious questions about what Rok and Mika are up to. SERRRRIOUSS questions. BWAH HA HA (evil laugher)

Now Mika, don't lie: That felt good.

@Pixie - he hasn't said otherwise yet :)

Looks like she should refrain from kicking Mika in the balls in the future, he must have acquired a set or rock hard ones lately...
