@leyna - I liked that phrase :)

@marionette - he does seem to be a he, but he's also a spirit, so he can be in two places at once (or maybe more?), although it's not a guarantee he pays attention everywhere.

@Magravan - yes, that was a deliberate pun.

HA! Pining! I get it! Now that it was pointed out to me. I'm slow.

Just going to chime in now even though I'm not caught up yet. You handed me one of your Angry Faerie cards at the NaNo kick off party in late October (2012), so I have been working through your comics over the last few weeks. This is such a fun series! And I highly commend you for keeping up with three updates a week with only increasing quality. That is an incredible accomplishment!

It has been really neat seeing how the comic, characters, and you have evolved as an artist over the last year plus. Just wanted to leave a comment of encouragement, though I usually don't comment on web comics at all. Since I saw you in person, I thought I would leave a note to say, "Hey, handing out those cards worked! " and "Keep up the good work!" and "Dude, this comic is SO FUN!"

Very much enjoying it. :-) Kudos to you for all your hard work and dedication.

@MangyCat - thanks very much for the kind words. It can be tough maintaining a webcomic three times a week, but I really enjoy doing it and getting comments like this is one of the reasons I stay motivated.

Glad the business cards worked too :)

Hope you continue to enjoy the comic. Leave a comment anytime :)

Have you thought about putting out printed Angry Faerie comic books? Perhaps one per story arc? You can self-publish pretty easily at Lulu.com—and for FREE, which is a bonus!

A book with a color cover and black and white interior comes to a rather affordable selling price too. You can sell directly on Lulu or on Amazon and other online distributors (ebook OR print).

Since it's print on demand, there is no overhead cost for you, except for any copies you order yourself. You set your price for customers on the site, figuring in your profit after printing, then just direct people there to buy. Lulu handles all the shipping and whatnot.

It's pretty sweet, and it could bring you in some income for all your efforts! You have a pretty nice following here, and probably many others who don't even comment. Your fans would buy those books!

There is an Angry Faerie manga available either from myself ($10.00 includes s&h) or it's available at fine comic book shops in Colorado Springs: Escape Velocity, Muse Comics & Games, CK Comics. Or in Boston at The Million Year Picnic.
