So if you weren't aware (because I really didn't advertise the fact) I was on vacation since last wednesday. I went to visit my family in Massachusetts for the first time in about five years. Had a great time and...

(drum roll please)

... Angry Faerie mangas are now available at the Million Year Picnic in Harvard Square (that's in Cambridge, close to Harvard... go figure, right?). Thanks to Tony for carrying it!

That's now three brick & mortar comic shops carrying the comic: Muse Comics & Games (colorado springs) , CK Comics (Manitou Springs) and The Million Year Picnic.

I had to brag.

OK I LOVE Chibi Angelique (who may or may not be as angelic as her name indicates.) You know after seven or eight marriages, it might dawn on her that it's not the men in her life....Just sayin'

And I'm glad to see Angelique is still maintaining SOME control over Bulfinch--even if it seems a bit underhanded.

Congrats on the expansion to brick and mortar--Million Year Picnic has been around a while (Longer if you count the Bradbury story)

yeah angelique may have love issues, since you were clearly in the boston area you should have tried newbury comics on newbury street in boston, i used to go there all the time when i went to school there and also the one in nashua nh, they get lots of traffic through those stores

What are we at now? 4 exes? And still counting :P

Darn, you got to get the Dead Tree edition across the pond... or I'll have to order one and go downtown and force them to import it!!

@White Owl - mini-Lique is fun to draw and write. She's slightly based off a character in the manga NEGIMA. One of the characters has chibi-fied version of herself and because it's a copy, she's kind of dumb.

Angelique's love life hasn't always turned out well, although whether the Kraken is an ex-husband or just someone she dated hasn't been revealed.

@Guest - I did talk to someone at Newbury Comics who referred me to their corporate offices. The problem with them is that they don't really do much with comics these days... it's mostly CD's and t-shirts. But we'll see what happens. I also need to look into contact New England Comics.

@Hogan - Not sure when/if I'll be able to get the manga to a brick & mortar "across the pond", although that would be terrific if I could. If you want to order one, let me know your address (email me at bbedlam@gmail.com) and I can look into the shipping costs and maybe we can figure something out.

Angelique isn't too picky, well at least after the divorce.

@RazorD9 - Angelique may be picky, she just may have strange taste in men. Both pre and post marriage :)

Your sharks with laser beams are not match for my mecha crabs with rocket launchers!

Also, still loving the comic, mini-lique is awesome, and I really should have guessed the Kraken is another Ex... I would would wonder if Artus knows, but then I realised that if he did, he wouldn't care...

@Thisguy - if Artus knows about the Kraken's history with Angelique he hasn't given any hints about it. As your mecha-crabs, you should have a doctor look at that. Bazinga.
