Well, it's been a week. Did you miss me?

The move from Colorado to Massachusetts took about a day longer than expected, but I should have anticipated that. When you move with 2 dogs and a cat, they need more rest stop breaks than I'd planned on. Fortunately I did find hotels along the route that were pet-friendly, so at least that wasn't an issue.

As I write this (on Sunday) I am still waiting for all my belongings to be delivered. It should be done on Monday which will be great because I really miss my drafting table. This page was actually drawn at the kitchen table, and honestl I'm not all that happy with it. I mean, it conveys the story but it's definitely not my best work. I will plead exhaustion from the trip, and promise that things will improve as I get more rest and get settled in.

Back on Wednesday :)

First--Welcome back! I hope the move is soon easily finished and you're back in familiar surroundings soon. 2) I'm guessing Artus introduced Celine Dion to young Mika. 3)Mika certainly DOES seem a bit out of control--and Death to the Non Elvish? A bit extreme as well!

@White Owl - thanks, it's good to be back. 2. Just where Mika got his love for Celine Dion may be shrouded in mystery. Not sure anyone wants to take credit for *that*. 3. Mika wasn't always the reserved, cowed elf we've seen up until now. He has a history of his own out there somewhere.

Whoa! O_O

Mika was HARDCORE! Artus must have used a TON of his power to calm THAT down.

@Spikes - there is definitely a lot more to Mika than what we've seen from him in the past. We've seen hints of it here and there, but nothing that really lets you know just who he used to be. Obviously you'll be getting some more insight into his character with this storyline.

... I think the art here is fine and clean. I'll allow exhaustion as being the excuse for being down on yourself about it, though. XD

@Silka - thanks for the kind words on the art. It's not necessarily the illustrations themselves, but the overall storytelling that I'm not entirely satisfied with.
