So last week I kept saying how AF was about to end it's 5th year and all that and it was all good and great and terrific and everyone was very cool about it...

... but apparently I was wrong.

I had it in my head that AF launched on 2/9/09. This is, apparently, incorrect.

AF launched on 2/7/10. Which means that AF is only NOW starting it's 5th year.

The moral of this story is "never trust your memory because it will lie to you."

So....

...whoops?

We always want to age things to legitimize them--but that's ok. Congrats on 5 years. And the Elemental is right--even if AF Stops the Draugr, whats to prevent dragons, or some other apocalypse that's even worse? Good art, and I love Rocky's first NO! (I love seeing his words in uppercase sometimes)

Actually I'm glad that I'm only starting my fifth year. Now I don't feel quite so old! Also, I'm hoping to make this year a really big year for AF... redesigning the website, getting some ads up on Project Wonderful, attending east coast conventions for the first time... things like that.

As for AF interfering with how events in her past played out? Well, it probably won't be good... but then again, stranger things have happened.

Its AF we are talking about... if she prevents bad Things (probably caused by her), she will cause new ones... just because :)

@Hogan - yeah, AF tends to cause as much trouble as she prevents. Messing around with the timeline probably wouldn't work out well... but we'll see what she does (or what she doesn't for that matter).

Is AF going to let a chance to save Peck the gnome (someone she said she liked) slip through her fingers?
bbedlam 10th Feb 2014, 9:54 PM edit delete reply

@Mostly Harmless - since AF doesn't know where or when Peck got devoured.. or if she's arrived too late to prevent it.. it could be tough for her to try to save him from his fate. Will she make the attempt anyway? Hmm...

Like the temporal prime directive in Star Trek! Rules like that are made to be broken...

@PhilC - AF has never been one to let any rule get in her way. Our elemental friend seems to be laying down the law, but AF isn't much of a law-abiding citizen a lot of the time. So we'll see what she does.

Who decided we can't create time paradoxes anyway???

@Dodom - I'm not sure. Probably Einstein. He ruined everything!
