Page 618!

Yes... it's seriously page 618. And yes, there appear to be some serious gaps in Mika's memory. Or maybe more like "chasms" rather than gaps. Either way, there are some questions that need to be answered.

Then again, there are always questions that need to be answered. Like where did the axe come from? :)

Today's page was penciled & inked while watching THE ALMIGHTY JOHNSONS, season 2.

Wonder if Mika has gotten too many hits over the head... from a certain Faerie :p
Would be poetic Justice! :D

@Hogan - it's entirely possible AF has a hand in this, but she seems pretty surprised by this turn of events. I'd be willing to say in this particular instance AF is innocent. Or as innocent as AF can be.

The missing line makes it lots clearer, though the intensity of AF's gaze almost got the message through.
Oh, and don't call me Shirley.

@PhilC - the missing line *does* improve thing a bit I think. I'm glad you think the artwork conveyed a lot of it, but the rest of the dialogue didn't make much sense so... :)

... looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

I'm going to take a guess that you put in whatever line was missing, so I just pictured it with each one possibly missing. I have to agree with PhilC, I could see the artwork getting the general message through even with a missing line, and I'm not even sure which one was missing. Even if it caused the dialogue to not make sense, it says a lot that your artwork would itself convey the meaning you are going for. And the axe is not the question, the axe is simply the answer. Also the axe is gone. Furtively whispers "I think it's sentie..." oh look, there's an axe in my back now.

And friends don't let friends sniff glue. You don't need glue. Surely all you need is tone. Wonderful, glorious tone. Don't worry, I'm sure we can get a group discount on getting help. Huzzah!

@Lizardman - I did put the missing dialogue back in. It was the panel where AF is telling Mika he used to run Bullfinch. With that dialogue missing, it just didn't tell the story, but I certainly appreciate you saying that the artwork carried the story for the most part. That being said, I think it makes a lot more sense when Mika asks "I was?" when there's a context for the question.

All you need is tone? That was a Beatles song right?

Rofl, looked it up, looks like that point goes to you. I actually wasn't looking to try to make a song title on that one. Cheers!
