Page 623!

I really like that first panel. I think it came out really well. Even though the bookcases were inked without a straight-edge, I did actually use a straight-edge to figure out where the lines would go. I just think inking without the straight-edge gives it a more organic look.

Also, that fifth panel? I can't help but here that in the voice of the woman from Meatloaf's "Paradise By The Dashboard Lights".

Today's page was penciled & inked while watching Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.

Too curious on what's gonna happen next.
I don't like cliffhangers :)

EDIT: Hahaha, and here I see Merlin saying: "Let me sleep on it, I'll give you an answer in the morning" and AF: "I gotta know right now!" :D

With a guest appearance by the magical mystery axe of fun and happiness and good times!

@Lizardman - The axe will make a reappearance down the line, but for now it's gone back to whence it came.

I just used WHENCE in a sentence. My work here is done.

Whence. I haven't heard someone use whence in a long time, and it is awesome. I have to find some way to use it at work today now. I should start a list of words I want to start using again.

"Whence" is a good word. Hopefully you found a way to work it into your daily conversations :)

@Muchacho NL - You don't like cliffhangers? Everyone loves cliffhangers! There was an entire tv show called CLIFFHANGERS (this is true, and only I and perhaps 2 other people I know actually remember the show. Even my brother, who watched it with me, does not remember this show).

But I digress...

"let me sleep on it. Faerie, faerie, let me sleep on it. Let me sleep on it, I'll give you answer in the morning"
