Page 648!

Even though panel 3 is pretty simple, I really like Loki's body language. Actually I'm pretty happy with the "acting" throughout the page for the most part. The backgrounds aren't much, but I don't think they really needed to be in this instance.

And it seems as if Loki is a bit ahead of Thor right now doesn't it?

Today's page was penciled & inked while watching The Great American Bash '92 on the WWE Network. Really good PPV featuring a lot of faves from that era (Vader, Rick Rude, Doc & Gordy). Highly recommended for you wrestling fans out there.

Typically Loki to be three steps ahead of Thor, but I still don't get the iminent shadow in his face... it's not like he has 3 inches thick eyebrows :p

@Muchacho - Maybe Loki DOES have really thick eyebrows? Actually there's a reason why his face is so often cast in shadow... it just hasn't been revealed yet. Trust me though, the explanation is fairly simple and will be revealed in the near future.

Bedlam you just made me think of something. Loki was supposed to have been tied to a rock and had a snake (can't think of the name) drip it's corrosive venom on his face (iirc). That not the "real" Loki is it?

@Spikes - It's definitely the real Loki. I think it's pretty clear that I've always played fairly fast and loose with the "real" mythology. Whether the snake (and I don't know if the snake actually has a name or not) will make an appearance at some point is questionable. No plans for it at the moment at least.
