Page 653!

I'm actually uploading this page on Saturday, but it won't update until Monday. Why? Because tomorrow (or yesterday, depending on how you look at it) I'll have been at MeCAF all day and since I don't know what time I'll get back/got back I figured I'd make my life easier by getting the page set to go today (or two days ago, again depending on your point of view.)

The Doctor was right.. it is a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff isn't it?

Anyhoo... hope you like today's page.

It was penciled and inked while watching Clash of the Champions X and NXT on the WWE Network.

So, where DID the ax come from?
bbedlam 19th May 2014, 8:30 PM edit delete reply
@Joanna - good question! What are the odds I'm going to explain it right now? There are some things that have to remain a mystery, and that's one of them.

@Muchacho NL - Hammerspace... can't touch this!

I don't believe it. years down the road and finally SOMEONE asks her the all important question "why?" lol.
bbedlam 19th May 2014, 8:31 PM edit delete reply
@Spikes - yeah, the stone elemental kind of threw AF off her game by actually posing that question didn't he? Normally people get put on the defensive so quickly they don't have the time to do that, or they retaliate rather than question. The stone elemental managed to get the question in, and obviously took AF by surprise there.

You should know by now, Stone Elemental, that 'being angry' is a perfectly good reason for AF to separate your head from your shoulders.
bbedlam 20th May 2014, 1:05 AM edit delete reply
@Muchacho NL - Actually the stone elemental hasn't really spent that much time with AF if you consider it. They had a long journey together, but there wasn't much reason for her to get too angry during that trip. Of course, he may be learning that *now*.

Well, he has been lingering the outskirts of bullfinch for quite some time, surely he'll have spied on her for a bit and witnessed AF chasing 'the elf' with her axe for whistling Celine Dion. Or that's at least the story I'M sticking by :-p
bbedlam 20th May 2014, 11:23 AM edit delete reply
@Muchacho NL - ah, but he first met in the far-flung past when Bullfinch was being built, and then he waited around for her to reappear from whenver Merlin flung her to. So was he paying attention to 'present' day AF while he was doing that? And when AF did reemerge in the 'current/present' in the past it was about the same time as *that* AF was chasing Mika around with the axe.

Wibbly-Wobbly Timey Wimey.

I know, but at least he'd have some entertainment value off of the younger AF chasing Mika all day. :)

BTW: how much time in the story has passed since the beginning up until the disappearing of AF into the dead realm?
In other words: How much older is the current AF in comparison to the past AF (keeping the AF that was sent back and forth through time as the baseline of 'the present')
