So.... little bit of a change to the Angry Faerie style here. Last week I increased the size of the strip just a bit, and I've decided to try to work a bit of screentone into the strip as well. I'll be interested in hearing what you have to say about the new look, so leave comments. If everyone loves it, I'll keep at it.. if everyone hates it, I'll go back to just the B&W.... so let me know, ok?

Back on Wednesday with more!

I read quite a few comics, and most artists tend to get better as the comic progresses. So by all means continue to develop your style and technique.
I like your webcomic, its an original concept )

I'm guessing this is the "apathy faerie" her brother. (After all she said Father arrested mother--not My father...) So the plot thickens

And I like the zippotones...Keep it up Scott!!

I really like the new styles...and the new character!
What program did you use for the new tones?

It look so much richer with this style. I didnt miss it before but if you went back to the original style I would miss this one...I really love it!

oh yeah and lovin bro! I am also starting to the think if AF ever learns some manner she can mentor Judge Judy. HaHa Angry Judge! The makings of a spin off!

I think I prefer the old style, but I'll get back to you after a month or so... Sometimes it just takes a bit for it to grow on me, and then I prefer it ;)

@F Scheltens - glad you like the comic. I'm trying to always make small improvements where I can. Next step: get better at inking.

@Whiteowl - oddly enough my initial idea was to make her brother the "Apathy Faerie" ... so you may be right about that. Glad you like the ziptones :)

@geekgrrl - glad you like the new style and the new character. I'm using Manga Studio for the tones.

@marionette - glad you like the new style too. It definitely adds some depth to the strip.. or at least I feel it does. Not sure about Angry Judge as a spin off though :P

@Magravan - I'd be interested in hearing what aspects of the old style you like over the new style. But let me know in a month if you still the same way :)

Dig the new character, and AF's face in the third panel. The style is very nifty, I think, so I vote keep it.

It just seemed ... cleaner, I guess.. the white space was nice, and the subtle suggestions of folds and stuff... I'm sure that the cross hatching probably goes in faster? But I don't care for it as much at this point. But I got used to the new style Bonejangles, so it's probably just a matter of time...

@rizzlebug - glad you like the new character, and yeah.. AF can be very expressive at times :)

@Pixie - nah, not quite :)

@Guest - glad you like it! THanks for reading!

@Magravan - well, I hope you'll keep reading and give it a chance to grown on you :)
